Speech Therapy Blog for Mommies

Tiana is now 4-1/2 years old and has yet to call me Mommy or Mama. I am Dada. I know she can pronounce M's however when annunciating it in a word she replaces it with a 'B' (example: Elmo is Ebo, Oma is Oba). I came across this fabulous blog called Mommy Speech Therapy and after reading about the letter M, I immediatley sat down in front of the mirror with Tiana (can't do any therapy without a mirror) and began a 20 minute session. With consistent practice, I hope to be called Mommy in the very near future.

I was "Baba" for the longest time, which got confusing because she calls her brother "Bubba". Thankfully we finally got our M's down, but she still switches to B's when she's REALLY tired! What a great resource, thank you for linking it!

Hello! It's been a long time since I left a comment but I wanted to tell you that I'm so happy that you met Tony and Lori T. He gave a sermon and I realized that his sermon's message is the title of your blog! How awesome is that. Well, they are a terrific family and I've been truly blessed to have them in my life. Can't wait to hear more from your blog!

Yes, the problem has resolved itself. But for that minute it was haywire, so was I!
